I’m always on the hunt for great containers to hold, refrigerate and, especially, freeze food. It’s actually harder then you think. Freezing in glass is not a good idea because as food expands it can crack the glass. Sometimes I freeze in zip lock bags, but it’s never my first
choice because there still hasn’t been enough testing done of freezing in plastic and the release of dioxins or other chemicals into the food. In general, most plastic leeches toxic chemicals (like BPA) into foods at extremely hot and cold temperatures. What can I say…I’m a Mother, so I’m also a worry wart about this stuff!
These French Bull storage containers are not only gorgeous and come in several sizes, but they’re dishwasher safe, shatter proof, heat resistant and BPA Free.
They’re not cheap, 3 bowls for $32, but I know I’ll have them forever!
