Pear and Apple Chips Program

Share

We love eating fruit chips, but they're quite expensive to buy at the supermarket, so we decided to make our own. All you have to do is thinly slice sweet pears and apples and in no time flat you have healthy, crispy chips that everyone in your family will adore.

How would you store these and how long do they keep?

Store uncovered (otherwise they get soft and soggy) and they last for several weeks!

Are they crispy or chewy. My son in 18 mths old, would he be able to eat these?

Yes he would! :) They are crispy and can be chewy depending on how thick you cut them.

Could you please tell me what brand mandoline you have? I would like to get a simple one like yours and try this recipe. Also, what stores do you buy it in? Is it in your store?

    Thanks!

PS Loved your video, and can’t wait to show it to my daughter. Of course the star of the video for her is your son. As she would say, “He is too funny!”
