Bialetti Pasta Pot Giveaway!

July 21, 2011

If there's one pot in our house that gets used more than any other (wait, it might be a tie with my sauté pan, but it's really close) it's my pasta pot. After years and years of using a pasta pot that's been on it's last legs for longer than I should have been using it, I finally retired it. Out with the old, in with my new, bright orange Bialetti Pasta Pot. It's awesome and I love using it. Aside from being made in three beautiful colors the Bialetti has a safety lock and built in strainer which makes draining out the water safe and easy; two great features, especially when you've got lil' ones running around. The 5 qt. pot is big enough for spaghetti, vegetables, even lasagna noodles.

Bialetti is offering three weelicious readers the opportunity to win their pasta pot in your choice of color. To enter, just leave a comment below telling me the shape/type of pasta you cook at home most often. The lucky winners will be chosen at random and notified next week.

Good luck!

It changes almost every month, but lately, my daughter’s been on a elbow macaroni kick. She likes it in chicken broth with your turkey pesto meatballs. I bake them and dump them into to the broth with some veggies, the elbows, broth, and voila! She can eat a really big bowl!

Penne and rotini. Whole wheat. Occasionally elbow macaroni for Mac n cheese or Mac salad. Life without pasta would be rough.

I usually love pasta in a shape, bowtie or shell pasta are my favourites. But sometimes, when I have time, I love to make lasagna.

My little ones and my husband are all spaghetti lovers- we do whole wheat thin spaghetti most often. Meat ravioli is a close second. Sometimes making meatballs is too difficult when the kids are climbing the furniture…
