There are a bunch of “luxury items” (as I call them) I believe every mom deserves to have in her kitchen. We’re BIG rice eaters in our house, but I can not begin to count the number of times I forgot about the pot of rice on the stove and accidentally overcooked it.

    I would have to say it is between my blender (got to have my random smoothies) and our stir fry pot (it can cook anything, it’s just about all I need on the stove top).

    My strainer gets the most use these days: for rinsing delicate fruits and veggies, straining pasta or steamed veggies, making yogurt cheese (with the help of a coffee filter) and even for smoothing out some desserts and soups.

    My blender and garlic press are tied for second place.
