Pecan Pie (Makes 1 Pie)

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cup dark brown sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Brown Rice Syrup (you could use corn syrup instead)
  • 2 Tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1/4 Tsp Salt
  • 1 1/2 Cups Raw Pecans
  • unbaked pie crust* (you can make your own pastry dough or buy prepared crust at the grocery)

Preparation

1. Preheat oven to 350 F.
2. Line a pie dish with pie crust.
3. Place the first 6 ingredients in a bowl and combine.
4. Stir in the pecans.
5. Pour the batter into your crust-lined pie dish.
6. Bake for 45 minutes.
7. Allow the pie to cool completely and serve.
