How to Make Kid-Friendly Bagel Wreath Pizzas

The Ingredients

  • Bagels: I use whole wheat bagels for some extra fiber and nutrients, but any bagel will do!
  • Shredded mozzarella cheese: Again, this is just what we use for pizza, but if you want to switch it up, use any cheese you like as long as it gets nice and melty!
  • Pizza sauce: You can make homemade or use jarred sauce from the grocery store to make this recipe even easier.
  • Steamed green veggies: Think broccoli, peas, green beans or even asparagus tops!
  • Roasted red bell peppers: You’ll thinly slice these and use them to fashion an adorable Christmas bow for your bagel wreaths.

The Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 450°F.
  • Spread 1 tablespoon of pizza sauce on each slice of bagel.
  • Top each bagel with 2 tablespoons of cheese, then arrange vegetables on top to resemble a wreath.
  • Cut bell peppers into thin strips to make the ribbon for each wreath.
  • Place bagel wreaths on a foil lined baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes or until cheese is golden and melted.

Can You Air Fry Bagel Wreath Pizzas?

Absolutely! These Bagel Wreath Pizzas can be air fried at 375°F for 8-10 minutes. Each air fryer is different so keep an eye on them so that you don’t over brown your pretty green vegetables.

  1. So clever! We’ve got a pizza loving toddler (we actually live in Italy) plus guests coming for Christmas, including another toddler. This veggie pizza is now on the menu. Thanks and consider me your newest fan!

  2. I made this with a large pizza and used a round cookie cutter to cut out the center. My family raved!

  3. Catherine, you don’t need fancy creativity…your recipes are awesome in the most important ways, FLAVOR and NUTRITION! But I think this is super cute and very appealing. Thanks!

  4. My kids would love that with chives. They are always eating them straight out of the garden each summer. I can always tell of course because they reek of onion. LOL!
