My Mother's Day gift to you - a new KitchenAid Mixer!

May 10, 2012

If the appliances in my kitchen were all marriage material, I would have a horrible time choosing which one to settle down with forever. Seriously, how should a girl choose? So many of them are hard working, reliable and would honor me for a lifetime. But if I had to pick the one that is the most handsome, the one that makes me smile every time I see him, it would have to be my Kitchen Aid Artisan Standing Mixer. I use it several times a week and it does everything from help make perfect cookies to turn out tender pizza dough to produce the fluffiest whipped cream.

Now here comes the best part. Kitchen Aid is offering one very lucky weelicious reader the chance to say "I do" and spend the rest of her years with this dashing new Artisan Standing Mixer in stunning crystal blue (retail value $349.99). How exciting is it that one of you is going to welcome this mack daddy mixer into her home?!

For a chance to win, simply tell me what you really want for Mother's Day this year -- besides this mixer! Winners will be chosen at random and announced here next week. Good luck!

Congratulations to #758, Dejah Pennington-Fagan, the winner of the KitchenAid mixer!

I love her answer as well: I already have what I want: my beautiful family. Last Mother's Day I
was on bed rest with my twin girls and didn't know if I would be
celebrating this year with them. I am very fortunate to be spending
Mother's Day with our completed family :)

Had a beautiful Mother’s day with my husband and children. They made cards and treated me to lunch in bed.

The only thing I would have added was to have spent some time on Mother’s day with my mom too.

I hope this is still open! I had a great mother’s day! My husband cooked me breakfast, we went to church, then my hubby made a late lunch while the kids played. He also folded a ton of laundry! The only thing that would have made it better would have been a pedicure. :)

My husband, daughter and I went out to eat (seafood!) and then to the beach for a walk and to skip rocks and enjoy the view. Thanks for the chance to win a Kitchenaid mixer!

I spent Mother’s Day competing in my first triathlon, and we celebrated the weekend before. What I really would have liked was a day alone either reading or shopping or both, then a fun family dinner.

I had a great Mother’s Day! We spent time together, myself, My Mom and my daughter, at a Mother’s Day dinner at church. My 3 year old made a cute little hand print for me, and my 6 year old hand-made a necklace. It was just perfect!

I had a fantastic Mother’s Day. Had brunch with my husbands family, spent some time with my 2 boys, my daughter took me to the museum & my hubbie made dinner. All my wishes came true…

I slept in for my Mother’s Day; woke up to flowers & a favorite cup of coffee next to my bedside. Later my mother & I went out to get our cut & styled. That night the whole family went out for dinner. It was a great day of relaxation & enjoyment, but unfortunately it wasn’t complete; my son is away at college & even though he called it wasn’t the same. He is planning to come home for a visit in a couple of weeks, so until then my Mother’s Day wish is incomplete… to have my son in my arms again, is all I can think about!!! I haven’t seen him in over 3 years, and I can’t wait to see the man he has grown into!

I would love a nanny/personal assistant to do all the dirty deeds (poopy diapers, laundry, errands, etc.) so that I could focus on having fun with my family!
