When Kenya started preschool, I became obsessed with finding the best school lunch containers. Over the years I've tried out dozens of different lunch bags and boxes looking for the end all and be all. For me, having something functional that's both easy for me to pack and simple for my kids to open is a must. But in my estimation it's all about what you like. Your taste, your kids' taste, what fits in your budget and what best accommodates the way you like to pack school lunch.
While I'm all about functionality, I'm also passionate about bags that are aesthetically pleasing. My best friend, a total fashionita, sent me a link to these So Young lunch bags years ago and I was immediately besotted with them. They're practical and gorgeous. The lead safe, coated linen exterior complete with beautiful retro artwork, combined with the easy-to-clean, PVC-free, phthalate-free and insulated interior make them a mom's dream. Over time I've used them to do everything from tote school lunch and snacks to being the perfect Lego carrier on family outings.
So Young is offering five weelicious readers the chance to win one of their new boxes: the cowboy or cowgirl cooler bag or lunch box OR the artichoke lunch bag (which tickled my fancy when I first saw it). How come lunch bags weren't this stunning when I was a kid?
For a chance to win, I need to ask you a favor -- a big one! Will you take a super quick survey about school lunch? I'm planning on incorporating the results into the weelicious school lunch book which comes out next summer, so your answers really matter to me! Just leave me a comment below to tell me you completed the 4 question survey and you'll be entered in the giveaway. I sincerely appreciate you taking the time to help me out.
Winners will be chosen at random and announced here and on the weelicious Facebook page next week. Good luck and tune in next Thursday for yet another great lunch container giveaway!
