Get Yubo Lunch Box Giveaway

A few years ago, when Kenya was about three, my friend Diane came over with her son Beckett for lunch. As our two little munchkins sat hungrily at the kitchen counter, Diane whipped out an amazing lunch box -- one I had never seen before. She then did her best Vanna White for me, showing off Beckett's Get Yubo Lunch Box and highlighting for me all its awesome features, like the individually covered containers, an easy to hold handle, and a custom ice pack to keep everything at safe temperatures (which I thought was by far the coolest feature).

Last year I finally got a couple of Get Yubos to try out for myself and I fell for them immediately. I'm somewhat of a lunch box aficionado and they totally stood up to my high standards.

So, how psyched am I to announce that Get Yubo is offering five lucky weelicious readers the chance to win a lunch box! I can't wait for the winners to experience just how cool they are.

For a chance to win a Get Yubo lunch box, simply leave a comment below telling me what you pack most often in your kid's lunch box. Don't worry, there's no wrong answer!

Awesome! I’m in the market for a good lunchbox for my 18mo old who starts 2-day Montessori next week (too young for my taste, but it’s to adjust for my mom’s new chemo treatment schedule yet still give her the time she wants with him each week… how could I say no to that?!), and this thing sounds like a perfect fit for our needs. Now I just need to peruse the site to come up with more ideas for his lunches that don’t involve heating or refrigerating! :)

My little man is such a good eater! Fruit is his favorite (of course) so there is always a fruit variety in my fridge! Cubed cheddar cheese, milk, whole wheat toast, are also meal time go to’s. I really try to include all the food groups for meals so I include a protein (black beans, shredded chicken, beef wieners) and steamed green beans, corn or hominy. Basically whatever I have in my fridge pantry!

    Hi Catherine!
Here is what I pack mostly for my daughter, Daisy, age 4: Hummus sandwich on whole wheat naan, or sunflower seed butter and j’s pressed in waffle maker, or egg sandwiches on whole wheat bread. I also always pack her fresh fruit, berries and nectarines are her favorite. I pack homemade crackers – either ‘wheat thins’ with flax seed or cinnamon ‘wheat thins’ from your website. I also add peices of cheese and a drink… usually Honest Kids lemonade or water.
She starts Transitional Kindergarten this August and I would love to win her a snazzy new lunchbox! Thanks!

I felt like an official real mom when it became my duty to pack lunches for Evan. My spunky 3-year-old is a picky eater, but will never turn down an almond butter and jam sandwich, so this is usually what’s in his pail. To break up the monotony, I draw a little something on his sandwich baggie with a Sharpie every day… a dinosaur, a robot, planets, a ladybug, etc. He loves to share about his lunch baggie art on the ride home from school. I hope it make him feel special :)

When I pack a lunch or on-the-go meal for myself and my 11 month old, we usually have brown rice, baked chicken, zucchini, a salad, some string cheese, and some water. My daughter has allergies, so she gets to eat chicken, rice, and plain vegetables only, which is why we pack lunches, as she cannot eat foods prepared where there’s allergens. I can’t wait until she goes to school to make her beautiful lunch boxes that entice her and make her excited about eating healthy.
