How to Make Magical Fruit Wands

The first time I made these Magical Fruit Wands was for Chloe's 3rd birthday and they went over like gangbusters. All of the kids were running around casting spells on each other before devouring them. In fact, they were so popular that I now make them for every birthday party or event involving the kids.

This is one of those cooking activities you should definitely get your kids involve in as it's easy, safe and a ton of fun. I like to use grapes, bananas, watermelon balls, and berries for my wands, but you can use almost any kind of fruit you like.

And best of all, free wishes included with every wand!

I read about these on your site last year when planning my son’s pirate birthday party so we named them pirate swords :) They were such a hit we’ve had them for a Star Wars party (light sabres), princess party, and randomly every month or so since. They are definitely a fave in our house! Thanks so much Catherine for all your fantastic ideas and hard work!
