Graham Cracker Swirls

Graham Cracker Swirls

Share

I love a good old fashioned challenge. So when KitchenAid dared me to reinvent the after school snack, I couldn't have been more excited! I tend to be an all or nothing kind of gal, so I decided to take on a true classic: graham crackers.

Coming up with new ways to get my kids into food is my passion, and I find that after school snacks are a great way to do that. It's a fun time of day to feed kids because they're incredibly hungry and usually want a special treat.

We love graham crackers in our house (and really, who doesn't?!), but I wanted to take this classic snack and make it even more delectable, more fun, and most of all, more appealing to kids. Just wait till you see what I did with them!

Check out this easy and fun recipe for Graham Cracker Swirls on the new KitchenAid blog, the Kitchenthusiast. It's here along with a recipe from Weelicious: One Family. One Meal. and lots more ideas on how to reinvent the after school snack!

Do these freeze as nicely as the regular graham cracker recipe? It is a go to for us and I’d love to be able to add a twist (or swirl in this case) to our selection!

Catherine, do you use White Whole Wheat flour? Is that what you are referring to in your recipes? Thanks! The swirls sound yummy.
