There's good reason why men get such a bad rap for their 11th hour holiday shopping habits. My dear hubby was a perfect example last year as he disappeared an hour or so before 16 guests were showing up to our house for a Christmas Eve dinner to start his gift buying. It was really such a joy to have him vanish when I had a stove crammed with bubbling pots, an oven full of baking dishes, an overflow of friends and family about to walk through the front door, not to mention a gaggle of kids running around and promising more mayhem on the horizon. Hubby returned minutes before dinner was served carrying a few bags. Does any of this sound familiar?
This year, in honor of my sweet partner, I've saved the last -- but certainly not least -- gift guide for her. It includes some of my favorite finds this year as well as a few others I would love to see under the tree....for me. Hint hint, hubby.
Pass this along to any last minute, idea-challenged shopper in your life be it your husband, father, cousin, friend, whoever, and tell him to get the ball rolling.
And if you missed my other fave gift pick lists from this month you can find one for the kids here and for him here! It's never too late to remember those who you love and mean the most to you (well, as you know now, minutes before Christmas Eve dinner is too late in my book, but you get my drift). Happy holidays!
