Bambu Shop Giveaway

Bambu Shop Giveaway from Weelicious

Share

Not long after my son Kenya first started eating solids, I came up with a list of ten ways to make feeding babies easier. I had found that by following the ideas on the list, my son became a much more engaged eater.

Number one on that list was giving him a wooden spoon. Even though he was too young at the time to use a utensil, having his own spoon made him feel like an active part of the eating process, not a passive participant waiting for me to feed him the next spoonful. He loved that spoon and would suck, drool and gnaw on it until there were bite marks all over it. Prior to discovering those wooden spoons I had become discouraged with endless amounts of plastic products stocked in the feeding section of stores. I knew all that plastic couldn't be good for him and also felt that if I was going to take the time to make homemade food, I should serve it on glass plates or bowls with metal or wooden spoons.

That's when I discovered Bambu Shop. Sustainable, practical and beautiful, I still have and use the Bambu products that I bought seven years ago and they're good as new.

This Bambu Shop Giveaway is being offered to two weelicious readers. Just leave me a comment below telling me what you're cooking for Memorial Day and you'll be entered for a chance to win a $50 gift certificate so you can get whatever Bambu products you want!

What's more, if you really want to dive in and rebuild your cupboard with new kitchenware, Bambu is offering all Weelicious readers 15% off their entire order through June 5th, 2014 when you enter the code Weelicious15 at checkout. See, everyone wins!

Good luck!

I really like the idea of using bamboo utensils. I have 3 little ones and one just turned a year old. She chews on everything! I am going to order some baby and kid utensils. All the stores ever sale are the plastic baby utensils. Bamboo is so much healthier.

I want to put together that pizza with fruit that Ive seen everywhere on pinterest. I think its with a watermelon and various fruits. But cooking Id like to grill some portabella mushroom burgers by marinating the mushrooms in soy sauce, balsamic vinegarette, garlic, ginger, and a little maple syrup or agave over night. Sliced raw red peppers and avocado on top. Then maybe grill some eggplant that has been salted with sea salt and a miso paste on top. Topped with cucumbers and lemon juice. Then some homemade sweet potato fries and a pear coleslaw made with vegenaise. :)
