Can you believe it's already that time of year again? Back to making school lunch again, which means...you really need to check out this LapTop Lunches giveaway!

Laptop Lunches Giveaway from Weelicious! FIVE Winners!

I've been using LapTop Lunches bento boxes since the very first time I packed Kenya's school lunch. In the Weelicious Lunches cookbook I talk about how his preschool teachers were over the moon whenever parents would pack lunch in them as it was so easy for kids to see all of their choices without having to negotiate a bunch of random baggies and containers. These bento boxes also mean less waste for the school and environment to deal with as well, so they are a real win-win.

Laptop Lunches Giveaway from Weelicious! FIVE Winners!

Lap Top Lunches has always been one of my favorite companies for bento style lunch boxes because they're bright and colorful, easy for kids to open, and even easier for parents to clean -- as well as being affordable. For all of the money you spend over the course of a year on zipper bags, plastic containers with lids and brown paper bags that quickly end up in the land fill your child can have their very own durable, long-lasting lunch box that will give them ownership over their lunch and be part of their daily routine for years to come.

Laptop Lunches Giveaway from Weelicious! FIVE Winners!

Lucky for us LapTop Lunches is generously offering FIVE Weelicious readers the opportunity to win a bento style lunchbox and carry case. For a chance to win, just leave me a comment below saying one food your child loves to see in their lunch box.

Good luck!

I LOVE our Bento lunchbox. It works great for my daughter who is 20 months old and goes to daycare. Since I’m not too excited about what they serve the kids there, I pack her Bento box and off she goes with a healthy, nutritious meal every day. One of her favorite treats is dates! I cut them up and she packs her mouth full like a chipmunk when she eats them. Now that she enjoys her Bento, I’m jealous and want one too!

My 7-year old daughter absolutely loves melon including in her lunch- particularly watermelons and cantaloupe. She and her younger sister are completely dismayed that I am not a melon fan, and without fail each time they eat any they try to understand why I don’t like to eat melon! They love it so much they can’t understand that everyone, particularly their mama, doesn’t feel the same way!

My 3 year loves when I ask her what she would like in her lunch for preschool & I carefully listen & follow through. The other day she asked for peaches & cucumbers (mixed together) and slices of salami wrapped around string cheese, cut up in “circles” (toddler code for “sushi style”)!. Her favorite dessert item is a little dipping cup of Nutella with unsalted pretzel sticks. Everyday I ask her how her lunch was & she’ll give me a “no-holds barred” critique. I have found by asking her for input, she feels so grown up & tends to be a bit more adventurous in some choices because she knows I’ll listen & modify if whatever she tries isn’t as good as she thought it would be. Most importantly, this is an opportunity for a conversation that opens her up to telling mama all about her day. :)
