Festive 4th of July Recipes

4th of July Recipes from

It’s that time of year when all you can think about are red, white and blue any and everything. Chloe is obsessed with wearing matching stars and stripes outfits with Gemma, Kenya wants Fourth of July neon light up necklaces and bracelets and I want to cook my heart out with favorites like Blue Corn Chip Crusted Fish Sticks, this delicious gratin, Tomato Bruschetta and parfaits for dessert.

This is the time of year for chasing fire flies (as we’re doing the next two weeks on the East coast), picnicking with friends, staying cool swimming and celebrating a few quiet days in a row.

The best part is that you can slow down to let the kids get involved cooking with you. We’re even putting out a watermelon star and berry bar so the kids can make Magical Fruit Wands. They’re beautiful and the kids love putting magical spells on each other with them. I hope these Festive Fourth of July Recipes give you tons of inspiration for fun and easy cooking projects you can do together!
