It finally hit below 50 degrees in LA this weekend which is as close as it gets to chilly. We bundled up in cozy sweaters, fuzzy socks, lit a big fire, played games and were happy as clams. It was also the perfect opportunity to dig in the refrigerator for any and everything I could find to make big bowls of soup. In the winter there's nothing that makes me happier than soup or stew on a cold day. Ok, there's one thing and that's not having to cook at all when it's cold outside to just want to hide under the covers and play hooky with my hubby and kids. If that's your jam you'll want to make sure you have these 9 Soups to Make and Freeze on hand so you can do the same.
Whether you decide to make a crock pot full to pop in the freezer for school lunch or make a big pot for dinner and have a few bowls extra to keep in individual containers you'll want to keep these recipes in your folder for just those days. They're all super easy, nutritious and super duper delicious!
