I use my mini food processor every day. It’s one of the most important tools for me because it chops, grinds and mixes the food in seconds, also it’s easy to clean, light weight and takes up minimal counter space.
I spent a lot of years trying to find the perfect knife for my hand. This is smaller than a chefs knife, but it’s light weight and makes chopping and even peeling easy. I always suggest that you try to find one or two knives that you love and spend a little extra money getting something great. It’s your tool and you’ll use it every day. Think of it like your favorite pair of shoes. A girl and guy have to have a good pair of hot shoes!
I’ve used bamboo, wood and these poly cutting boards. I like poly’s because they’re easy to clean, dishwasher safe and don’t hold the smell of what you’re cooking. They’re inexpensive, so I usually a buy a set so I can each one for different foods groups.

I bought these in LA at a store called The Little Seed. I didn’t want Kenya to be chewing on plastic every time he ate a bite of food, but didn’t know what type of spoon to use. These beautiful spoons are made of solid bamboo, a natural food-safe wood, which makes them extremely durable. They also hold the perfect amount of food for every bite.
This is the Lazy Boy of high chairs. Kenya is so comfortable and relaxed when he’s in his highchair, he could stay there for days. He gets so relaxed that at dinner time, he usually kicks a foot up on his tray while he eats. Such a boy.
There’s no superhero on the side of this lunchbox, but you will know your little one is leaving the house with the safest container holding the food that will nourish his or her body.
Since my husband has become the “plastic nazi” in our house, we only use these all glass containers. They come in several sizes, are easy to clean and keep food fresh.
