Almond Milk Video

I was with a bunch of people the other day who couldn’t believe that I make my own almond milk. They imagined homemade almond milk to be some time intensive process which involved all sorts of complicated steps. My husband was the same way the first time I suggested to him many years ago that he try doing it. However, once I showed him how utterly quick and easy it was to do, he was a convert. Now he does it at least once a month if not more! It's creamy with a touch of sweetness on it's own or you can add it smoothies, in cereal or Oatmeal in the Crockpot.

Almonds are really expensive, at least where I live in SC. Where do you get your almonds that you can say it's less expensive to make your own?

Ewwwwwww!! I'm sorry, but \"Milk\" comes from a mammary gland, and last I looked, almonds are not mammals! This is just an almond smoothie. There is nothing about it that makes it milk. Can't believe that the FDA lets it be called milk.

I've made almond milk before, and it tasted more like almond \"juice\" not so appealing, very watery. BUT I made this and it is delicious-very creamy and milky.
I really like dairy products, but my body's sensitive to them and this is a great substitute for cereal and the occasional plain glass of milk. LOVE IT! Thanks!
