Cinco de Mayo Snack Platter

Snack platters are such a fun and easy way to set out tons of food for a party, and Cinco de Mayo is a few days away, so let's make a Cinco de Mayo snack platter to serve this weekend! This platter is filled with Mexican-inspired flavors and some of my family's favorite snacks. Chips and Guac anyone?! Set out this snack platter for an appetizer as guests arrive to a party. There is something for everyone here. 

You can even serve this as dinner for your family - no party necessary! The ceviche and taquitos provide plenty of protein, and you can choose all your favorite veggies. I love serving a snack platter for dinner because all the food is in one place, which means fewer dishes to clean later. Score!

Ingredients

  • Shrimp & Hearts of Palm Ceviche
  • ​​Big Kid Guacamole
  • Kiddie Salsa
  • DIY Baked Taquitos
  • Pressure Cooker Beans​
  • Nacho Cheese Dip​
  • Jicama with lime juice and paprika
  • Avocados
  • Mini Bell Peppers
  • Corn on the Cob
  • Sour Cream
  • Shredded Cheese
  • Tortilla Chips
  • Inka Corn
  • Sesame Seed Almonds

Preparation

1. Arrange the large items first to anchor the platter. 

2. Chop the fruits and veggies into bite sized pieces and arrange decoratively around the board along with the remaining ingredients.

3. Contrast is key. Try to place dark foods next to light foods to add variety.
