Banana Cottage Cheese Honey Spread (makes 1 cup )

  • 1 cup low-fat cottage cheese
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 banana, sliced


1. Place the cottage cheese, honey, vanilla, cinnamon and half of the banana in a food processor and puree until smooth.

2. Serve immediatly or to firm up more the spread can be refrigerated for several hours.

3. Spread on toast and sprinkle with optional toppings.
