How to Make Green Bean Casserole

I finally figured out how to make Thanksgiving continue all month long. You reach out to different groups of friends and family and convince them that even weeks before Thanksgiving, you need to do trial runs meaning friendship Thanksgiving parties or any other way that allows you to make a juicy brined turkey, cranberry sauce, glazed sweet potatoes and all the fix ins as many times as possible. The only way I get to make all of my favorite Thanksgiving recipes is by doing it this way. If not I would end up preparing 30 dishes on November 27th and that’s just not going to happen.

Even when I con (vince) friends to do this they generally want to be part of the fun cooking different dishes, but haven’t tried making certain recipes that are generally reserved for holidays like Maple Brined Turkey, Sweet Potatoes in Orange Cups, Brussel Sprouts, Pear Pistachio Crisp, Sweet Potato Biscuits (featured on Goop) and Pumpkin Pie Parfaits. I’ve made tons of Thanksgiving videos over the years to show you simple tips and tricks for preparing some favorite holiday recipes. The best part is that they’re all simple and not time consuming to prepare leaving you more time to hang with loved ones.

Watch this How to Make Green Bean Casserole Video for a few ideas on whipping up this classic recipe with a much healthier twist!

I love FriendsGiving. It gives me the same excuse you have--more opportunities to experience the flavors. And call me rude, but I suggest my friends bring the wine or rolls so the cooking can be left for me :)
