We’re always trying to keep our kids off technology, get outside and truly engage. In a day and age where we’re disconnected from each other more than ever it’s so much fun to go outside and meet your neighbors and friends.
One way the kids love doing this is setting up stands in front of our house. They have done everything from lemonade stands to a slime stand (yes, this is really a thing), to passing out one of their favorite nutritious foods: Wonderful Halos Mandarins!
Bursting with Pure Goodness they’re one of the easiest ways to share not only kindness, but also good health in a sweet little easy to peel package.
It’s so funny watching how people react to us. Some people drive by thinking we’re selling something. Others are jaw dropped that the kids just want to say hi and hand them a Wonderful Halos. While some people who have lived in our neighborhood for years and we’ve never even met before end up talking to us and really connecting while we peel and eat Halo after Halo.
What are you doing this holiday season to connect? I love hearing your ideas!
