Hemp Seed Pesto (3/4 cup)

Ingredients

  • 3 cups fresh basil leaves
  • 1/2 cup hemp seeds
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • juice of one lemon
  • 1/4 cup parmesan or vegan cheese, if desired

Preparation

1. Place all of the ingredients in a food processor and puree until desired texture. 
2. Serve tossed with pasta or over avocado toast.
