You should be eating Kiwis! And if you never have before, what are you waiting for? Here’s the “scoop”:

* Kiwis are fantastic source of dietary fiber, Vitamin E, potassium and Vitamin K

* Kiwis have more vitamin C than any other fruit and twice the amount of oranges

* Kiwis are in season right now

* Kiwis are bright in color (which kids love), sweet, delicious and inexpensive (I can get 3 for a dollar at our local farmer’s market)

Need I saw more?! And here’s a great way to enjoy them.

    4. interesting, I read that strawberries were the highest in Vitamin C? I wonder which it is…not that it matters, both are much loved in our household. I remember the first time my daughter had a kiwi (probably 6 or 7 months old we skipped puree’s and followed a babyled weaning approach to foods) she was hooked, and boy was that mess to clean out of her diaper (we cloth diaper) yikes! But worth it to see her gobble them down and get some wonderful nutrients into her 😀
