I teamed up with Truvia sweetener to show you one of their favorite recipes. They’re lower in added sugar than other Monster Cookie recipes and a great way to incorporate all that leftover Halloween candy your kids brought home last weekend. The best part is that you can freeze the candy to make these any time of year. For those kids who can’t possibly find a cookie big enough to satisfy their sweet tooth craving you have to try making these beauties. They’re soft on the inside, golden on the outside and a treat everyone will go gaga for! Check out the full written recipe from Truvia sweetener!

  1. there is a lot of sugar yes ladies….you can use apple sauce in its place and go without the candies for sure!

  2. Looks and sounds yummy. I’m still worried about the total amount of sugar per cookie, though. I think 6 grams of sugar per cookie (even though it’s about half a a regular cookie) is still a lot. May give these a try, anyway :-).

  3. I worry about that leilei. I did a happy dance right in the middle of the candy aisle at Target when I found they had Unreal candies back on the shelf (the kids got a huge kick out of the dance!). Unreals had been gone for a year and a half because the brand was reformulating or something. Check them out at http://www.unreal.com. LOVE them!!

  4. Do you worry about all the food coloring and other junk in the candy?
That is one of my main concerns about my kids consuming M&M’s.
