I’m excited to announce that I am about to head out on the Weelicious: One Family. One Meal national book tour! After years of communicating with weelicious readers around the country primarily via email and comments, I’m finally getting to hit the road and meet many of those moms and dads face to face — and I can’t wait!
As part of the tour, I am doing cooking classes at Sur La Table stores nationwide. I’ve designed the classes for busy parents who want to learn how to make fast, fresh, and easy recipes for the entire family, with a special spotlight on picky eaters. At many of the locations we will be giving away Kitchen Aid standing mixers and other great items. Each class can accommodate 30-40 people, which means your chances of winning are insanely good!
The first class is this Saturday, October 20th at Sur La Table’s Newport Beach, CA store and I’ll be in a new city every couple of days. Each class will feature me cooking some of my favorite family friendly recipes from the book, offering mealtime tips and tricks, and answering all of your questions about those tricky picky eaters. When you leave, it will hopefully be with a full belly (yes, we’re going to eat the food too!) and new resolve to go home and make cooking for your family that much easier.
Here’s a list of currently scheduled events. Space is limited so make sure you sign up right away. If you don’t see a location near you listed, keep checking my calendar because there are more locations being added weekly. Please tell your friends, family, neighbors and anyone else you think will enjoy the class.
Can’t wait to see you!

Come to Seattle!!!
I’m with Karen! We’d love to have you in the Great White North. You have a big fan base here!
come to Atlanta!!! You have so many fans here! 😉
I love the fact that my children are acltluay enjoying learning letters and the alphabet. I love hearing them saying their letter rhymes like hats on horses h h h This program makes it fun and achievable. They are both so fond of reading and I enjoy reading stories with them of an evening just before bed. Hayden is now starting to read me the story which is fantastic.
You’re a southern girl….please show us some love in ATLANTA!
Awesome! I just wish it cost a bit less to go. I’m sure it’s a good deal, but me being a stay at home mommy makes funds more tight for fun things like this. Hope you have a great time!
Hoping you come to New Jersey!
I hope Atlanta makes this list! : )
Bummed that one of the few non-daytime dates is NYC. It’s really hard for Long Island mamas to get into the city and back so late. 🙁 Wish you were coming to Long Island.
Michelle,
This sounds awesome! Do you have more info about your moms group? I’ll send it to the tour organizers!
Wish you were coming to Atlanta. If you change your mind, I’m in a giant mom’s club of about 200 active moms. We would love to organize something, maybe through our local Sur La Table or Cook’s Warehouse…
I wish you were coming to Boston!!!
Congrats on your tour. I’m so bummed that I can’t make either of your Northern California dates (I’ll be at work). Hopefully you’ll come up here again!
please come to pittsburgh! 🙂
