Slice the watermelon into 1 inch round slices, and then cut out star shapes using a three-inch star-shaped cookie cutter.
Gently slide the blueberries on wooden skewers and finally place a watermelon star on the top. Or add blueberries and watermelon stars in whatever order you prefer!
Serve the skewers or place them in a tall glass or in decorated floral foam as an edible centerpiece.
Notes
Assemble with Care. When assembling the skewers, be gentle while threading the fruits onto the skewers to avoid crushing the blueberries or damaging the delicate watermelon shapes.
Use seedless watermelon. This helps you not have to dig out seeds and risk messing up the star shapes you cut out.
