Instructions
Baked potatoes at 400°F for 1 hour.
Remove potatoes from the oven. Cut down the center and mash potatoes with a fork. Divide sauce, cheese and toppings evenly among the potatoes.
Put potatoes back in the oven for 5 minutes until melted through.

How do I know my baked potato is ready? The easiest way to check if a baked potato is ready is to use a fork or a sharp knife to pierce the potato. If the fork or knife easily slides all the way through the potato with little to no resistance, then it is fully cooked and ready to eat. You can also gently squeeze the potato to check for doneness; if it gives easily when you squeeze it, it's likely done.
Can I make this recipe vegan? Absolutely! Just use your favorite vegan cheese or leave the cheese out entirely and obviously top with tons of your favorite veggie toppings.
