Place turkey in a steamer over boiling water. Sprinkle thyme over it. Cook for 6 minutes.
Add sweet potatoes, carrots and cranberries to the pot with the turkey. Cook another 6 minutes or until turkey is cooked though and vegetables are tender.
Cool turkey for several minutes, so the juices can redistribute and then cut into cubes.
Place all the ingredients in a food processor and puree. Add some of the water from the pot, a tablespoon at a time to make smooth.
Cool and serve.
Notes
Texture Tailoring. Customize the texture to fit your baby’s weaning stage. Smoother for the younger ones, a bit chunkier for those ready to tackle more textures.
Introduce Spices Gradually. Gently introduce the Thanksgiving spices. Start with just a pinch of cinnamon and thyme, and build it up based on your baby’s budding taste preferences.
Storage and Freezing: Make life easier by whipping up batches and stashing them in airtight containers in the fridge for up to 3 days. Or freeze individual portions for future!
Mix it Up: Feel like getting creative? Add in other baby-friendly Thanksgiving goodies like mashed pumpkin or butternut squash for a nutrient-packed twist.
