Notes
How to Core an Apple: The easiest way is with an apple corer, but if you don't have one, a small paring knife works too. Just cut around the stem and seeds, then scoop them out with a spoon or melon baller. Be sure to leave the bottom of the apple intact so the filling stays inside while it bakes.
Even Sizes: Try to pick apples that are similar in size so they bake evenly.
Serving Ideas: Top with yogurt, whipped cream, or a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a cozy dessert.
Save the Syrup: Pour the leftover apple juice syrup over pancakes, oatmeal, or ice cream. It’s lightly spiced and naturally sweet!
Make baby food: After baking, peel the skin and puree the apple and raisins for babies 8-12 months old.
