Everyone needs 4 Quick Ways How to Soften Butter? I thought a post like this was necessary after watching my husband get annoyed every time he decided to bake something at the last minute and then realizing once he had already started making it that the recipe called for the butter to be at room temperature.

These are great tips. I’m sure I will have to resort to using one or more of them in the very near future. Thanks so much. (I agree with BarbaraRose, you really should put that butter in a zip lock bag before you put it in you pocket. Just sayin.)
Great ideas, but I think I would put the butter in a zip lock bag, BEFORE I put it in my pocket!!

I am a bachelor, 69 y.o. and I learn something new in the kitchen every time I prepare meals in my own home for my guests, here in Overland Park, KS (Kansas City).
Melt butter….
Boil water in a Tea Pot…
Slice into 8 – 10 chips, then place into measuring cup
