These look delicious! And so easy to play around with. You could do pesto one day, tomato sauce another…love it!

I only have 1 son, so it would take a while for us to go through these. Do you think we could freeze them?

    • catherine says:

You can definitely freeze them! What I would do is roll it up, cut the roll in half, freeze one half of the roll then cut the other half in pinwheels and bake them off! If you want to use the second roll later, just let it thaw to room temp and then cut them up and bake!

I don’t like dijon mustard…my kids won’t eat tomato sauce…any other ideas for sauce?

    • catherine says:

Do they like organic ketchup? You can use that or you can put pesto or salsa. Any type of sauce :)

In our house we have what we call ‘Big Mac Pizza’ Don’t know where my husband got the recipe, but it was the first thing he ever cooked for me! You use thousand island dressing, cheddar cheese and cooked ground beef. I think these toppings will work so nice with this recipe. I already bought all the ingredients and will be making it this weekend.

These are fantastic!! I made these with light dijon, chopped turkey, and shredded herb cheddar cheese. It was fantastic and my daughter can’t get enough of them. I make half of the roll and the slice and freeze the other half. Next up: adding small, chopped apples to the turkey cheese mix.
