Clams with White Wine Sauce (4)

  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3 pounds fresh clams, rinsed


1. In a large soup pot over medium heat, bring to a boil the wine and garlic.

2. Add the clams, cover, and cook 5-7 minutes, until the clams are open.

3. Serve immediately.


Add 1 tablespoon of butter or olive oil for a richer flavored broth
