I love sitting around the fireplace with my kids, playing games, chatting, and enjoying the cool weather. I’m always looking for ways to make the foods I serve my family better, so I’ve teamed up with Truvia sweetener to bring you this Reduced Sugar Hot Cocoa.
Reduced Sugar Hot Cocoa
Ingredients
- 2 cups 1% milk
- 1 tablespoon + 2 1⁄4 teaspoons Truvía® Natural Sweetener Spoonable (6 packets Truvía® Natural Sweetener)
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne
- 1/2 vanilla bean
- 1/3 cup unsweetened chocolate, chopped
- 3 star anise
- kosher salt
- 3 cinnamon sticks, optional garnish
