Ahh Chocolate Milk. Is there a better invention? As a child it was one of my favorite treats! I would make it all the time for myself since it’s so, so simple. This Peanut Butter Chocolate Milk recipe is absolutely delicious though. You have to try it out. 


This recipe was actually created by Chloe! Chloe is “hack obsessed” as I call it, and always trying to come up with fun ways to use leftovers. One day I walked into the kitchen and she had the peanut butter jar that had just a little bit of peanut butter in it. I could see her wheels turning trying to figure out the best way to use it. 


Next thing I know, she’s tossing some chocolate chips in the jar with the peanut butter, tosses it in the microwave for a little, mixes it up and pours in some milk. Genius! She shook up the jar and created the best thing since Chocolate Milk… Peanut Butter Chocolate Milk! 


If your peanut butter jar is glass, you can do everything for this recipe straight in the jar (which I love). If it’s not, a mason jar is probably your best resource so you can microwave it safely and then be able to screw the lid on and shake it up! Mason Jars in general are great to have on hand in your kitchen. I use them for so many things like smoothie jars!


While this recipe is in incredibly simple, that doesn’t make it lackluster. You’ll probably start making your chocolate milk with a smidge of peanut butter all the time now! What are your favorite chocolate milk hacks?

  • Combine peanut butter and chocolate chips in microwave safe jar. 
  • Microwave for 20-30 seconds (depending on the strength of your microwave) and stir together. 
  • Add milk to jar, seal the lid and shake until all ingredients are combined.
