There’s nothing worse than your little ones coming home with a lunchbox of food that’s barely been touched! These Two-Tone Sandwiches are a simple way to make lunchtime fun and takes minimal effort on your end! Here are some reasons why making your little one a Two-Tone Sandwich for lunch is a no brainer!

The Ingredients

  • 2 slices white bread
  • 2 slices whole wheat bread
  • Spread, fillings and toppings of choice. Anything you love in a sandwich will work!

How to Build Two-Tone Sandwiches

  1. Using favorite cookie cutter, press shape into one piece of whole wheat and one piece of white bread. 
  2. Cover one whole piece of white bread and one whole piece of wheat bread with favorite fillings.
  3. From the pieces of bread that you cut shapes into, take the white bread shape and place it into the hole of the wheat bread and visa versa. 
  4. Place the two tone pieces of bread onto the full slices of white and wheat bread that have the spread on them. You will have 2 sandwiches.

  • 4 tablespoons any spread: hummus, nut butter, seed butter, whipped cream cheese
  • toppings of choice
