Whatever daddy eats the kids want to eat….or at least that’s true in our family. My husband is really into eating breakfast sandwiches for breakfast, so of course Kenya and Chloe want them also. I wouldn’t say that this Banana Cream Cheese Sammie is exclusively for breakfast, but it’s definitely really delicious first thing in the morning or just as a carbohydrate filled lunch treat to keep everyone full of energy and ready to keep going for the rest of the day until dinner!

  5. love this idea. We only had strawberry cream cheese in the house and it was a big hit. Now I have a nice variation from our regular sunbutter and jelly sandwiches.

  6. I think a banana and mascarpone cheese sammie would be good too! You can really flavor the mascarpone or cream cheese to make it special.

Honey, cinnamon, and vanilla mixed into the cream cheese or mascarpone with sliced bananas or even peaches is DELICIOUS! 😉

  7. I had to comment on this one. My two year old refuses to eat sandwiches without pulling them apart and making a mess. He just devoured this sandwich without slowing down to take it apart. Great idea! Thanks 🙂

  8. Made one this morning! I used pumpkin cream cheese and sprinkled some cinnamon and ginger over the banana. My 2 year old loved it! This is a great alternative that I can rotate with a PB&J!

  9. I am always looking for new sammie recipes for my twins. They get bored with pb&j sammies easily and I like having sammies for when we need to take a packed lunch. Thanks for sharing! Going to try this tomorrow!

  10. Reading this recipe after I just got done feeding my kids a sunbutter & banana sandwich! I will have to try this one tomorrow!
