These 15 Freezable Toddler Meals are so easy, they may help make feeding your little ones the least stressful part of your day.
I’ve always felt that feeding babies is easy. You offer them a bunch of different purees to try and get them used to the flavors. They generally sit attentive in their high chairs just excited to sit up and get to take a look around at the world. Adults are pretty self sufficient when it comes to food and kids are more or less forced to go with the flow of their parent or caregivers beat of the drum. Somehow, though, toddlers are a big question mark when it comes to feeding. They’re just starting to get teeth, so you want to move them into solids, but not into anything too hard to crunch on. Their patience and attention is generally only seconds long, so you need to get as much nutrition into every last bite as possible. They’re just starting into the “picky” phase where they really can tick you off and drive you crazy by saying “NO” to just about anything you offer them. So what do you do, what do you feed and how do you keep the foods they love on hand?
These 15 Freezable Toddler Meals will help you keep a few of their favorites on hand so feeding time is predictable and not a big guessing game. When toddlers are just starting to master holding cutlery it’s helpful to offer foods they can put in their hand and feed themselves for more independence. Not only will it make them better eaters, but will also make feeding so much easier for you!
They look like great recipes thanks! When frozen how would you reheat? Defrost or recook? Thanks!
Glad to hear this is a favorite!
