Tips for Perfect Rainbow Yogurt Popsicles

  • To ensure the layers of color don’t bleed into each other, make sure that each layer is frozen before pouring the next layer on top. At least 5-10 minutes in the freezer for each layer should be perfect.
  • You can use a spoon to place the mixtures into the popsicles, but I’ve found that pouring the mixtures into a measuring cup with a spout and using that to pour into the molds gives you more control.
  • As you add more layers, it can sometimes be challenging to place the popsicle sticks into the molds through the other frozen layers. I will use a small paring knife to make a slit to stick the popsicle sticks into. You might need to use your muscles if they freeze too solid!
  • When you’re ready to eat a popsicle, run the mold under some warm water to help loosen the cover from the popsicle!
  • If you’re looking for some popsicle molds but aren’t sure which ones, I’ve had these classic popsicle molds for years and they’re great! You could also make it even more fun with these star shaped popsicle molds!
