Surprise, surprise! I’m here once again telling you to try an air fryer recipe. Who would have thought? …Me! Because I love my air fryer and need everyone to get on board. Good news is, once you get an air fryer you’ll 1) use it all the time and 2) have plenty of weelicious recipes to try out in it! Recipes like Air Fryer Roast ChickenAir Fryer VeggiesAir Fryer Okra, and even Air Fryer Donuts. But today we have these delectable little Air Fried Artichoke Hearts!


These Air Fried Artichoke Hearts are super simple to make and produce a beautiful and delicious appetizer or side for a get together with friends or simply dinner with your family. They’re ready in 15 minutes, tops, and come out crispy yet tender and full of flavor. If you’ve never had artichoke hearts, this is a great recipe to try them out for the first time. If you’re already and artichoke heart lover, then you’ll be even more in love after a bite of these!


What’s great about this recipe is using canned artichoke hearts means you can make this recipe anytime you want. We have artichoke hearts on hand to toss in salads or use on top of pizzas, but this air fried version might be our new favorite. When I made these for the kids for the first time they were blown away!

I have no problem serving these up for snack time since they’re a fat-free, low-sodium food, while also being rich in key nutrients, including potassium, fiber, vitamin k, magnesium and folate. They’re also believed to contain antioxidants! Win, win, win!

Air Fried Artichoke Hearts with Creamy Garlic Dip

Creamy Garlic Dip:


  • Drain artichoke hearts and cut into halves or quarters.
  • Place artichoke hearts in a bowl and toss to coat with the olive oil and spices. 
  • Place the artichoke hearts in an air fryer basket and cook on 400F degrees for 10 minutes or until golden and fork tender.
  • Meanwhile, prepare the dip by combining the yogurt, garlic, lemon juice and salt.
  • Remove the artichoke hearts from the basket, top with parmesan cheese and enjoy with the dip!

  1. I’m at a loss. I’ve tried a recipe similar to yours, but I can’t seem to get the “burnt” look that you achieved. My range oven has an air fryer and my instant pot also has an air fryer lid. What’s the secret?

    1. Hi Renee! All air fryers are different so that could be the issue. Try leaving them in longer and make sure they’re spaced out so that they have room to get crispy. Hope that’s helpful!
