When you’re out of Almond Milk and need a quick fix for the bowl of granola you just poured, try this Easy Almond Milk hack that can be ready in minutes!
With Gemma being dairy free and most of my kids preferring dairy free milk anyway, we go through A LOT of plant based milk. It’s inevitable that every now and then we run out. We use almond milk in everything from granola to smoothies so if we ever see the bottom of the carton before we’ve restocked at the store I whip up a batch of this Easy Almond Milk that does just the trick!
Making Homemade Almond Milk is simple enough, but takes a bit more time than this recipe that uses almond butter instead of raw almonds. This almond milk can be made in a pinch and is great for all of your plant based milk needs. Use this in your Blueberry Chia Smoothies, on top of your Super Healthy Granola or even just in a tall glass to dip your Chocolate Chip Cookies in!
If you’re dairy free and have to drink plant based milk, it’s great to have this recipe in your back pocket! As long as you have some almond butter at your disposal, you can have creamy and delicious almond milk anytime you need. I like to add a touch of vanilla extract and maple syrup to contribute a little bit of sweetness, but you can leave it out if you want just plain almond milk.
